To keep the system in more reliable and efficient the unit will engage in the following tasks.
- To organize data/information of the previously conducted and on going projects through share point server to be accessed and used by all staff for acquiring latest information’s. The unit will release some space to each department in the share point server to be used and updated by assigned staff from each department to display their findings and accomplished tasks.
- Designing, development and host out REST external web site for advanced information exchange with different partners.
REST is growing dramatically in capacity, resource and responsibilities in relation to staffing and supporting partners. For this reason it is sensible to be visible to any one, one of the available technologies able to be seen REST in the globe is the net technology. Therefore, the unit will give a great attention in developing external web site.
- To ensure in time and continuous services to the entire network resource users.
- In maintaining hard ware and software
- Administrating the existing database and documentation system of REST.
- Introducing new and standardized computer and computer related accessories
- Insuring the availability and security of user data through scheduled back up system.
- To support staff to use the available documents and data bases at centralized system of the organization. Through provision of trainings and access security for different level.
- Provision of training and spotlight on new coming IT technologies to REST staff.
